How Can severe Headache Along With Cough Be Treated?
18 year old normally healthy son. 4 weeks ago major headaches with cough and sickness for a week. Dr gave headache medicine and antibiotics. He got better after about a week. Couple of days later he got a major cold. Took otc meds. Got better except now major phlegm build up and throat feels like it is ripping apart when he yawns. If not better by Monday will go back to Dr. Please advise what it may be? Currently giving mucinex and hot chocolate.

Most likely sounds that your son is having an ear infection, which is giving severe headache and cough.
That can be otitis media or else, and I recommend an evaluation with the expert ENT surgeon for this issue.
Till that time, decongestant, cough formulas, antibiotic and gargles with salted lukewarm water will help greatly.
